WordPress, Blogging & News

Presenter: Anet Dunne, A Net Gain for Revenue

NBIS member Anet Dunne will talk about "Wordpress, Blogging & News". Here's her summary:

Five years ago, WordPress was a little fish in a pond with Blogger and TypePad. Now WordPress.com provides free hosting to 275,000 small sites and premium hosting for Multi-User blogging platforms like the NYTimes.com, CNN.com, FoxNews.com and WSJ.com plus fee services for those in between. But the real action is WordPress.org, a non-profit open source community where designs, code and support are shared. We'll talk about the impact on web design, search results, social media and mobile applications. Expect a lively discussion!
