HTML5 Mania: Examples and Tutorials

I linked an article in an earlier post about Scribd abandoning Flash for HTML5 but I hadn't gone to their site. I went to Scribd and other HTML5 related sites and here are some interesting things to look at:

If you go to the Scribd site (http://www.scribd.com) and scroll down to click on the thumbnails under "Explore: Scribd in HTML5," you will see they show them in HTML5 but also let you see them in Flash. You can see the difference the way they display.

I also discovered a site that is dedicated to showing HTML5 sites: http://html5gallery.com.

From HTML5 Gallery, I clicked on the below example and it is hard to believe this home page is done in HTML5 without any Flash (also has jQuery):
http://www.circuitounimedrio.com.br
(From Brazil so it's in Portuguese but you don't need to understand the language to see what it does.)
Once at this site, on the Home page, hover over the gray golf ball-like circles.
After two more click-throughs, it eventually takes you to a larger Flash movie.

Off the HTML5 Gallery, there is also a HTML5 Doctor site: http://html5doctor.com.
On the HTML Doctor site, the Article Archive button takes you to tutorials.
